Egg: When collected this egg had no chromatophores on the developing larva, and a clear oil globule. No further notes were taken.
Larva: Upon hatching, the fine yellow spots in a line near the edge of the finfolds, and high myomere count, suggested a species not seen before. At 4 days, the larva looked like a bramid (C), but unfortunately failed to yield a barcode.
This egg has only been seen once in October 2002, but is listed here in the hope another will turn up and yield a barcode.
